The Customer System Administrator responsibilities to support DISQOVER platform setup for customers. You should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems and networks. You will also monitor system performance and configuring new software and hardware.
Ultimately, you ensure that our software runs smoothly on the customers on-premise hardware, network and servers.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SYSTEM ENGINEER
Provide support for DISQOVER deployments on customer infrastructure
Communicate with IT departments of customers
Advice on platform architecture implementation (backup, production setup, monitoring)
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
Update technical documentation
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security
CUSTOMERS SYSTEM ENGINEER'S PROFILE
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering (or equivalent)
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Proven working experience in all aspects of linux administration.
Solid scripting skills (e.g., bash, Python)
Experience with Docker
Managing and scripting of cloud solutions like AWS and Azure

Solid networking knowledge (Network topologies, network security, setup and maintenance of VPN, DNS Management)
Proficient in SQL database administration (e.g. PostgreSQL)
